These units were the militia formations that embodied Prussia's national awakening in 1813. When King Friedrich Wilhelm III called the nation to arms against Napoleon, the response was unprecedented. Landwehr units recruited from local districts brought patriotic fervor that transformed Prussia's military capability overnight. These weren't professional antipathetic soldiers, rhetoric proclaimed, but citizens defending their homeland - students, craftsmen, farmers, and townsmen who took up arms when their country needed them.

Pack Contents:

AB-PR20 Landwehr, marching x 26 figures
AB-PR21 Landwehr, advancing x 3 figures
AB-PR21a Landwehr, firing and loading x 3 figures
AB-PR22 Landwehr officer x 1 figure
AB-PR23a Landwehr drummer x 1 figure
AB-PR23b Landwehr bugler x 1 figure
AB-PR24 Landwehr standard bearer x 1 figure
AB-PR25 Landwehr mounted officer x 1 figure

Contains 37 figures: 36 foot + 1 mounted
