German regiments recruited from Austria, Bohemia, and Moravia formed the backbone of Habsburg armies during this period. They wore the distinctive Kaskett helmet and carried two standards - the Ordinarfahne (regimental colour) and Leibfahne (colonel's colour). The mounted dragoon officer represents a mounted officer.

These battalions fought across the Rhineland, Netherlands, and Italy during the First and Second Coalition Wars.
