Austrian Dragoon/Chevauleger regiment (1798-1815)

Austrian Dragoons and Chevaulegers formed the backbone of Habsburg line cavalry, providing versatility between heavy cuirassiers and light hussars. Dragoons and Chevaulegers (after 1798 reforms) had almost identical roles on the battlefield, though the latter usually served as true light cavalry for advance guard formations. Both types wore similar uniforms and equipment, making these figures suitable for either role.
