Austrian Grenzer battery (1792-1798)

This battery represents Grenzer artillery during the Revolutionary Wars - light guns crewed by Military Frontier soldiers supporting irregular operations against Revolutionary France. Grenzer units maintained their own artillery detachments, typically equipped with lighter 3-pounder guns suited to rapid deployment and broken terrain.
