Historical Context

This brigade pack represents a complete Bavarian infantry formation as organised during Napoleon's campaigns. Bavarian brigades combined line infantry battalions with artillery support, commanded by experienced staff officers. These formations fought with distinction from the 1809 Danube campaign through the Russian disaster of 1812 and the German campaigns of 1813.

This collection provides everything needed to field a substantial Bavarian force capable of independent operations or as part of larger Franco-Bavarian armies for popular Napoleonic rule sets.
