Peninsular War British foot artillery

Foot Artillery batteries provided the heavy firepower for Wellington's divisions. The 9-pounder gun was the workhorse of British artillery, effective against columns and capable of counter-battery fire.

Foot batteries moved more slowly than RHA but delivered devastating fire once positioned. British artillery was renowned for accuracy and discipline, often holding fire until enemy columns closed to devastating range. This two-gun section represents the standard battery subdivision for tabletop games.
